Supreme Court Ruling

On Friday the 26th of June, 2015, the Supreme Court of the United States of America trampled on the Word of God by ruling that homosexual marriage would become legal in every State. My heart was heavy watching those who oppose everything I believe in rejoice at the ruling.

To see the White house bathed in rainbow laser lights filled me with disgust and I am ashamed of the President of the United States. I am also ashamed of the unrighteous judges who use their power to pass laws that violate the ones that the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob have established.

The only time I can remember Barak Hussein Obama telling the truth in the last seven years was when he said he would fundamentally transform the country. In that one thing, with the help of a corrupt congress and media, he has been successful.

Make no mistake, Christians in this country will become more and more alienated from the Godless society we find ourselves living in. Persecution could be just around the corner and yet we can take hope knowing that we have victory in Jesus and He will have the last say.

The early church changed the world. God used ordinary men and women, armed with nothing but the love of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, to push back the strongholds of Satan and bring freedom to millions held captive by his power.

The Greek and Roman world that the first evangelists travelled to was as morally corrupt as any generation in history. In Corinth the church was made up of people who had been fornicators, sodomites, idolaters, liars, swindlers and thieves (1Corinthians 6:9-11).

The first Christians lived under the dictatorship of Rome. During the period covered in the Book of Acts, those dictators were the Emperors Caligula, Claudius and Nero, some of the most cruel, vicious and immoral men ever to lead a nation or empire.

One day the great Apostle Paul stood before Nero on trial. This little Jewish Christian facing the most powerful man on earth. Nero sentenced Paul to death, yet the work this man from Tarsus did transformed Nero's Roman Empire. The letters he wrote, some from Nero's Roman prison, have set millions and millions of captive lives free. On the other hand, Nero is known mainly for fiddling while Rome burned. Throughout history, people have called their sons Paul and the dogs Nero.

The church in America is living under a Godless corrupt government and leader but the Word of God is still more powerful than any two edged sword. The same Lord who gave victory to the early church will give us victory in our day. It's time for all believers to wake up and discern the times.

Jesus said that the time of His second coming would be as, "The days of Lot."

On Friday that scripture came to life before our eyes and is being fulfilled in country after country all over the world. Jesus is coming soon but till He does we have work to do.

"Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25)
